| The Christine Sumner Academy was established in 1996, in order to serve the needs of young people, helping them to achieve high standards in Music.
The success of the Academy is such that it has grown to a stage
that it now serves young people from Coventry, Warwickshire, Leicestershire and South Staffordshire.

Pupils who attend the Academy range in age from 7 yrs.-21 yrs.
Lessons are on an individual basis and cater for SINGING, PIANO + THEORY.
The length of the lesson caters for the
need of the individual, taking into account age and ability.
Pupils are prepared for ABRSM exams, Grades 1 -V111; GCSE + A level recitals; Festival and Competition
programmes and Advanced pupils -
entry into Music Colleges/ Academies, Music Theatre establishments + University Music and Drama Courses.

Language (Italian, German, French) + Drama skills are taught to singing pupils.
Advanced Singing pupils are taught at 1st Year Degree Level.
Scholarships for Advanced pupils are available.

Cantabile Youth Choir is an integral part of the Christine Sumner Academy.
All singing pupils attend the choir rehearsals and take part in the performance events and opportunities provided by the choir.
